This time, I tried to explore a few things that are a bit different from what I usually do.
I’d been wanting to play around with Redshift’s toon shader for a while, and I thought it’d be fun to create something using a character to apply some toon-shaded materials. But since I don’t know how to model or animate characters, the solution was to bring something from Mixamo into C4D and make the most out of it.
This is the final result, a short piece with some mixed textures and color tweaks done in comp to give it that stylized, hand-crafted look combined with the toon shading.
I made this short film about fear. I know it’s not my place to speak from that perspective. But recent events in Brazil and around the world, along with stories shared online and by close friends, made me think:
