I'm a football enthusiast, and the team I support, São Paulo, was the winner of the 2023 Copa do Brasil.
I decided to create some shots and make a short film for the internet with cloth simulations and shots featuring the cup and the team's emblem.
The idea behind using cloth was to explore the movement it offers, especially to represent the flag composed of numerous small pieces, symbolizing our fanbase. In the shaders, I included the famous chant from our supporters: "Torcida que conduz"
Finally, I have a great appreciation for using 2D motion as a support for 3D elements in my projects. This time, I created animated letterings in After Effects with the phrase "Campeão de tudo" and I also used it in the background of the scene with the flag.
