No Free Lunch
I had the pleasure once again of collaborating with BlinkMyBrain on another graphic pack for The Athletic, the sports division of The New York Times.
This time, we developed the graphic package for the podcast No Free Lunch.
No Free Lunch is a guide to business and finance hosted by one of the world’s true double threats: NFL legend and entrepreneur Ndamukong Suh.
Suh will explore how the most successful people in sports are building long term wealth, and what we can learn from their experiences. In every episode, Ndamukong will talk with athletes, experts, business leaders, and recurring contributors about their personal journeys to success, and explore the latest business ideas and trends. All filtered through the world of sports.
For this project, I worked on the art direction with a collage-inspired approach, exploring paper textures, especially money textures, hatching, and elements from dollar bills, combined with photography and the client-provided color palette. All of these elements were aligned to reinforce the visual identity and theme of the podcast, which centers around finance and business.
